Note: if you have
downloaded Scriptorium from CNet or any other website, you
will need to download the patch to update your installation
from this site.
Scriptorium is scripture software is built with the intention
of being usable with any sacred text, not just the KJV or
even "just" the Bible. Most especially, it is meant
to allow you towork with Christian Scriptures and texts that
are not in the Canon. Scriptorium is open source FREEWARE,
released under the GNU. It may be freely distributed and used
in accordance with the license. See the UI Guide for details.
The base Scriptorium distribution includes the full program
with all features enabled and includes the following Bibles
and Codex books:
Nag Hamadi Corpus
American Standard Version (ASV) Bible
King James Bible
Plus
Gerald Massey's Lectures
(Massey's Lectures are included as a "starter book"
and you can delete it from the option panel. See the Install
Guide for details.)
Scriptorium is also designed to be expandable and 21
add-on Modules and "Plug-ins"
are available free of charge and released under the same GNU
License. More will be released as they are completed so check
back often.
All Bibles, Books and Modules are in the Public Domain and
may be freely copied and used.
